The citizenship and social responsibility Unit

This unit is concerned with research intended for the spread of citizenship awareness and a spirit of social responsibility for the purpose of increasing social solidarity and preserving the property and the cultural achievements of the society


The Unit Objectives :

1. To count up all efforts made in the kingdom to consolidate the individual ’s sense of citizenship and social responsibility.

2. To conduct studies on contemporary aspects of social responsibility towards local municipal councils, chambers of commerce, civil society institutions as well as towards voluntary work.

3. To organize workshops and seminars on affiliation with society and the responsibility of the citizen.

4. To prepare guidelines for social work and community work to develop social skills as well as skills of community service

5. To further people ’s awareness of the significance of contribution in voluntary work, and to encourage participation in the institutions of civil society.

6. To improve and activate the role of the institutions of civil society in developing and inculcating the concept of citizenship among Saudis.

7. To advance research ties with Arab and international sister institutions in order to exchange knowledge.
