Giftedness and Creativity Research Unit

This unit is concerned with conducting research studies on gifted and creative individuals and ways of identifying and taking care of them focusing, also, on factors influencing variance in giftedness and creativity since early childhood.


The Unit Objectives :

1. To prepare interdisciplinary research studies to identify the mental, psychological and social

characteristics of gifted, excelling and creative individuals.

2. To explore the efforts made nationwide about giftedness, excellence and creativity.

3. To design and develop mechanisms for the purpose of discovering talented, excelling and creative individuals.

4. To cooperate with institutions concerned with giftedness and creativity locally, regionally and
internationally for exchanging information and research findings.

5. To create programs intended to develop talent, excellence and creativity.

6. To provide consulting services for families, schools universities and any other party concerned with giftedness, distinction and creativity.

7. To provide three guides :
- The Excelling student ’s Guide
- The gifted Student ’s Guide
- The creative student ’s Guide
